BookWormsSociety is built for serial fiction, reader reactions, comments, and author-reader connection. These rules help protect everyone.
Our Core Rule
Write boldly, read freely, and treat people with basic respect. Stories may explore dark, emotional, tragic, romantic, mysterious, or mature themes, but the platform itself must remain safe.
Not Allowed
- Racism, hate speech, slurs, or attacks against protected groups.
- Harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, or targeted humiliation.
- Explicit sexual content involving minors or sexualized minors.
- Pornographic content or content written only for sexual gratification.
- Graphic violence used only to shock or disturb readers.
- Plagiarism, stolen stories, stolen covers, or copied characters/worlds.
- Spam, scams, misleading links, fake promotions, or off-platform manipulation.
- Impersonation of another writer, reader, brand, celebrity, or staff member.
Comments and Reader Behavior
- Criticism is allowed, but cruelty is not.
- Do not attack authors personally.
- Do not pressure authors for updates aggressively.
- Do not post spoilers without warning.
- Do not harass readers for liking or disliking a story.
- Report serious problems instead of starting public fights.
Author Behavior
- Authors must label mature content honestly.
- Authors must add content warnings when needed.
- Authors must not attack readers for reviews, ratings, or comments.
- Authors must follow admin revision requests.
- Authors must use covers and character images they have rights to use.
Moderation
Admin may hide, unpublish, flag, restrict, or remove stories, chapters, comments, images, or accounts that break platform rules. Some moderation actions may happen quietly to avoid public drama.
Writers may receive private admin messages explaining required changes. In serious cases, reply may be disabled.
